It was just a matter of time before we created a throw inspired by the word that epitomizes cozy and comfort. Hygge (pronounced “hoo-guh”) derives from a sixteenth-century Norwegian term, hugga, meaning “to comfort” or “to console,” which is related to the English word “hug.” Although we don't have a word that directly translates to hygge, “cozy” probably comes close. The Danes and Norwegians might describe hygge as surrounding yourself with things that make life good. Yes! We get it! The Hygge Throw, with its large grid pattern in cream and black, is simple, contemporary, and classic.
